Tales to Astonish
Our Northbrook/Greenbriar HPB has recently acquired a rare #40 Tales to Astonish, published in 1963. This comic which ran from 1959-1968 featured characters such as Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Sub-Mariner and the Hulk. The series officially became The Incredible Hulk with issue #102 in 1968. It was written primarily by editor-in-chief Stan Lee and his brother, Larry Lieber and featured art by Jack Kirby. See store for details.

The Bon Vivant's Companion, edited by Herbert Asbury
Our Northbrook/Greenbriar HPB has recently acquired The Bon Vivant or How to Mix Drinks, by Professor Jerry Thomas and edited by Herbert Asbury, author of The Gangs of New York. This edition was printed in 1928 by Alfred A. Knopf and features many of the drinks made popular by Jerry Thomas in his original bartender's guide of 1862.
