A Tale of Two Booklovers

Passion for books is what brings most job seekers to Half Price Books. Working side by side with fellow booklovers, many employees have fallen for one another. Even our President and CEO, Sharon Anderson Wright, who started helping out in the stores at age 13, met her husband Ken Wright here. Ellen O’Neal, Sharon’s sister and our Chairperson of the Board, met her husband Tom working at HPB. Through the years, dozens of employees have met their spouses in the workplace. Not that we’re surprised. As Sharon once said, "Books can be darn romantic."
