Hannah is just a normal girl living a boring life when a girl at school, Lacey finally notices her. Lacey gives Hannah a new name and identity Dex. They quickly become best friends and Lacey leads Dex down the path to destruction and debauchery. As they become closer, Dex loses more and more control, until she finally breaks and Dex and Lacey become exactly what the title says Girls on Fire. This story shows just how quickly a bad influence can take a malleable soul down. It was an absolutely fascinating read and I couldn't get through it fast enough to find out what insane thing Lacey, and eventually Dex, were going to do next. I was not disappointed in the end. Highly recommended read for those of us who just can't look away from impending disaster.
