Daniel O'Brien is one of my favorite writers, to begin with, so when I discovered he wrote a book I was completely onboard. Despite the funny title, O'Brien does a fantastic job of blending his nearly-obsessive research about the presidents from Washington to Reagan with humor, leaving the reader with a new appreciation of just how remarkable, and quite frankly crazy, these men really were. Each president is presented in an easy-to-digest 3-6 pages, complete with whimsical drawings by Winston Rowntree. You're sure to learn more about the lesser-known presidents than any textbook will explain (my new favorite president is Polk), as well as gain new insight on the more popular ones like Lincoln. Oh yeah, and you'll also totally learn how to kick their butts if you need to.
Presents a humorous look at the United States presidents, detailing their exploits in machismo and outlining the strategies by which one would win against each president in a fight.
