If you enjoyed The Girl on the Train, youll definitely love Into the Water. Much like her last book, its full of creepy, alternating unreliable narrators, as well as twists and turns. Dont be fooled by plot twists that seem clich, because theres always something else right around the corner! Into the Water is about a town that has a drowning pool, where multiple women have drowned over many years. After a teenage girl and a single mother both drown within a single summer, an investigation is opened. The ideas of what everyone thought they knew about the town and the people that live there are turned on their head. I highly recommend this book for fellow lovers of psychological thrillers!
When a single mom and a teen girl are found murdered at the bottom of a river in a small town weeks apart, an ensuing investigation dredges up a complicated local history involving human instincts and the damage they can inflict.
