Das vorliegende Buch besch ftigt sich mit dem Thema 'Liquidit t der Kapitalm rkte'. Dieses ist seit Jahrzehnten ein zentraler Forschungsgegenstand der BWL. In dieser Studie wird nicht die Liquidit t im Sinne der Zahlungsf higkeit von Marktteilnehmern untersucht, sondern im Sinne der Handelbarkeit - der Wertpapierliquidit t. Der Liquidit tsbegriff wird in der Literatur mehrdeutig verwendet, was auf die Mehrdimensionalit t des Begriffs zur ckzuf hren ist, da die Liquidit t mehrere Eigenschaften des Wertpapiermarktes umfasst. Es gibt zwar eine recht genaue Vorstellung ber die Liquidit t eines Kapitalmarktes, ausgedr ckt durch die Dimensionen Markttiefe, Marktbreite, Marktenge, Erneuerungskraft und der Zeitdimension, doch ein f r die Praxis geeignetes Messkonzept, welches alle Dimensionen abdeckt, existiert nicht. Hierzu wird der Versuch unternommen anhand der verschiedenen Dimensionen sowie verschiedener Einflussfaktoren den Begriff Liquidit t zu definieren. Zu den wesentlichen Einflussfaktoren geh ren Market Maker, Transaktionskosten und die Ordergr e, welche ebenfalls genau bestimmt werden. Die Definition ist von entscheidender Bedeutung, um geeignete Liquidit tsma st be f r die Analyse herauszufiltern. Nach Vorstellung der bedeutendsten Liquidit tsma e, hinsichtlich ihrer Zusammensetzung und Eignung, erfolgt eine Untersuchung sowie eine zusammenfassende Darstellung der Ergebnisse vorangegangener Studien, die sich mit dem Thema der Liquidit t auseinandersetzen. Da in der nahen Vergangenheit aufgrund der Subprime Krise eine weltweite Finanzkrise eintrat, die inzwischen M rkte in aller Welt erfasst hat, werden zudem die Auswirkungen von Krisen aufgezeigt, die einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Liquidit t aus ben konnten. Anschlie end folgt die Liquidit tsmessung f r den deutschen Kapitalmarkt sowie eine Korrelations- und Regressionsanalyse. Hierbei werden der DAX sowie der CDAX mittels der Liquidit tsma st be Bid-Ask-Spread, Handelsvolumen und Marktkapitalisierung
