I was introduced to this book in college when a friend and I took a study break from finals, and he read me this gem. He even read it in true library story time fashion, showing the illustrations, and pointing out things therein. A few weeks later, I went out and bought my own copy, which I revisit from time to time. This book will delight children of all ages. Your I.D. might say that you're (insert your age here), but this book will remind you that you really are only seven or eight. The message of the book is simple, but it just may be something that we all need a reminder of from time to time, "to thine own self be true". Read this one to your children. Find some children you can read it to. or, worst case scenario, just pretend that there are children there that you are reading to. This is a children's book that should leave you with a smile on your face, and just the general feeling of, "Hey. I gotta be me".
