I watched the To All The Boys I've Loved Before movie on Netflix, and it intrigued me enough to read the book. I finished the book in two nights, and am currently reading the whole series. What the movie misses is the complexity of the characters. It captures their witty personalities, and they're individualism, but it misses their thoughts and feelings, something we can delve into deeper reading the book. Lara Jean is probably one of my favorite fictional characters I've ever read. This book is a wonderful and humorous look into the mind of a teenager on the cusp of adulthood, trying to figure out where she fits into the world, and what she wants out of it. Definitely going to be a book I go back to for years to come.
