Sir Frederick Edward Shafto Adair was a member of British airistocracy, and a political figure, the latter of which follows a robust family history in politics. Adair would be lauded as, at the time, Rudyard Kipling's contemporary. In this book, Adair recounts an expedition he had throughout the regions of Ladakh and Baltistan in 1894.
