Overview

These hardcovers were a part of the Miami University library's collection, so all the edges of the pages have been stamped. There are also small white library stickers on the bottom edges of the spines. The front and back cover pages have library paste in's. The top edge of the pages was sprayed green, although it has worn away slightly. All the spines are secure and easily rifled through. The pages are clean. The author, Professor Ronald Gibbs of McGill University has contributed to multiple botanical essays during his life (1904-1995), though this is his longest written work. This thoroughly researched academic text is a great reference for those interested in plant genetics and their relations.
