Overview

Adeline Adams was an American historian and writer, focusing on art history and the lives of the creators in the early 20th century. This volume is a biography of American impressionist painter Childe Hassam, and contains several monochrome plate prints of his artworks. The book is in very good condition, with minimal scuffing on the headband and tail, slight discoloration on the spine from UV exposure, and bears a small pencil inscription from a previous owner. This text was released in 1938, and hides its age well, with the text and print images in pristine condition. This vintage copy is an excellent addition to any collection!
