Autobiography of Jamil Al-Amin, better known by his name of H. Rap Brown. He was the minister of justice for the Black Panther Party in the 1960s during the party's brief alliance with the SNCC.
This is a first edition, ex-library hardback that contains stamps, stickers, and writing as such, including "DISCARD" in black marker on the front endpage. Clean orange cloth boards with black lettering. Photographic collage on endpapers. There is a significant portion torn off of the front endpage, likely where a library filing card was affixed. Edges have browned with age. Handwritten and ink-stamped library categorization on title page.Text is otherwise clean and unmarked, and binding is nice and secure. Book is protected by mylar sleeve with a scratch along the front cover. Dust jacket itself seems in very good condition, with some rubbing and bumping along the very edges. Contains library stamp on spine.145 pages.
