Publication page states: "First published in 1973 by Grossman Publishers" and includes no additional printings indicating that this a First Edition. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket: Bumping to edges, resulting in some light creasing to front and back cover. Light scratching to front cover. Light rubbing to back cover. A closed tear, about an inch in length, to back cover at head near spine. Medium black mark to back cover at foot. Boards: Minor bumping to corners of foreedge. Text Block: Binding is slightly cocked but still solid and otherwise in Very Good condition. Sticker from previous owner attached to front of first free end paper at head.
