All volumes have fading and rubbing to tops and bottoms of spines and corners. Solciety and Solitude volume shows fading on spine over title. Volume 12 (Natural History of Intellect) has approx. 2" tear just below title but above author's name with minor fading. Some volumes have minor underlining and notations throughout text. Text blocks of volumes feature top edge gold gilt that has faded. Copyright dates range from 1883 to 1898.
