The Poems of Goethe, translated in the original metres. No edition identified. Blue cloth boards with black and gilt lettering and decoration so bumping, rubbing, and scuffing. Covers appear slightly soiled from handling. Gilding is still bright on cover, and slightly faded onb spine. Gilt page edges are slightly faded. Front hinge partially broken, but binding is secure. Previous owner's name written in pencil on front free endpaper. Pages show toning toward edges, but are not brittle.
