Overview

Biography of the legendary big band musician Frankie Carle, inscribed by Carle himself. Carle was a very popular bandleader in the 1940s and 1950s, nicknamed "The Wizard of the Keyboard" and inducted into the Big Band and Jazz Hall of Fame in 1989. The inscription reads "To my great friends in Minneapolis Bob & Mrs. Deflores, The best always Frankie Carle". Dustjacket is in very good condition with only some very minor chipping to some of the edges. The book itself is in very good clean condition with a tight binding and black and white photos throughout. A unique addition to any jazz lover's collection.
