Overview

This 1800's era German bible was in the previous owners family for many generations. It has been professionally rebound with expert care. There are some minor cracks in the leather on the front and back cover, but they don't affect the look or structure of the book. On the 3rd page there is some pencil scribbles etched by a child (presumed by the line work). In the back of the book can be found picture holders for family lineage or familial patron saints. The illustrations in the book are expertly protected and are incredibly vibrant. Writings from the previous owner can be found dating as far back as the early 1900's. This well loved book has been preserved in a masterful way so that it can be enjoyed for another century.
