Overview

This is one of the first published accounts of the flood that occurred in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on May 31, 1889. It features a map of the area and black and white photos throughout. It has green, cloth-covered boards with faded gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. There is some staining and discoloration on the outside of the book. There is noticeable shelf wear along the edges, with fraying on the spine and bumped corners. The binding is a little loose, particularly along the hinges.
