This volume collects the United States government's treaties with Native American peoples from 1778-1883 with a foreword by Brantley Blue, Indian Claims Commissioner at the time of its publishing. The boards are embellished with traditional designs and the end papers feature an illustration by Pvt. Hermann Stieffel. The condition is Very Good. The boards are undamaged with minimal scuffing; the illustrations are still bright, and the text block is lightly toned, with a bit of discoloration at its top. Third Printing stated.
