Support Our Literacy Partners

As part of our ongoing commitment to combat illiteracy, Half Price Books strives to connect our customers with organizations that make a difference in their own neighborhood. Customers are encouraged to donate directly to local literacy nonprofits using dedicated coinboxes at the registers in our retail locations and each September, we build on that support by highlighting regional organizations in recognition of National Literacy Month. By featuring the nonprofit organizations below, we hope to encourage our communities to learn more about the important local efforts being made to challenge illiteracy nationwide.
