First edition printing of Axton's Prison of Ice. Layer of the paper on the dust jacket has been ripped off as if a sticker was attatched too tightly on both the front cover and spine. Both damaged areas are 1 1/2" long and reveal the white inside of the paper. Bumping is present along bottom edge of dust jacket rubbing away ink. This book was later republished as icebound with the author dropping the pseudonym and using his real name, Dean Koontz.
