Overview

This copy is number 308 out of a 500 limited print run from Folio Society. It has the original slipcase, which is in great shape. The boards are in good shape and clean. The spine has some stains along it. The binding is sewn in and still secure. The previous owner wrote their name on the front endpaper with pen. The pages have deckled egdes and are yellowed. The pages themselves are clean and free of markings. This edition has some stunning monochrome illustrations throughout showcasing various artists. A Lodging for the Night is illustrated by Barbara Crawford, The Bottle Imp is illustrated by Jacob Landau, and Markheim is illustrated by Don Cooke.
