HPB Bandera

Half Price Books is generally cheaper than buying brand-new retail, but whether it is the cheapest option depends on what you are buying. Their used books are usually priced at 50% or less of the publisher's cover price, though new releases and rare collectibles may have smaller discounts.HPB's clearance shelves are always worth checking out too. Often the things put on clearance are really great but the store was just sent an overabundance of the titles from the publisher or got too many from public buys.

I love this place. I come here all the time, both for their great graphic novel and board game selection, as well as a great place to buy gifts for friends. They have seasonal offers like coupon books for the whole year when you buy $30 or more, which I get every year. They have great, friendly customer service. You can buy from any store of theirs in the nation and have it shipped there. I've found so many gems here, all for a good price.I can't recommend it enough.

Whenever I come to town, I always make it my mission to visit this store at least once. The vibes, the overall atmosphere of this place is immaculate! Even the cat demands I take him next time. (No, I didnt place him in the tote. He went on his own free accord. )
