A 1996 printing of "Story Of A City" by Abd Al-Rahman Munif, and translated by Samira Kawar. "Story Of A City" is a memoir detailing growing up in Amman in the 1940's when it wasn't much more than a small village. Abd Al-Rahman Munif goes into detail about feeling the impact of WWII, Amman developing and the creation of the state of Israel in 1948. Overall, the book is in great condition with minor wear on the edges (pictured).
