Complete 12-volume set, with the revised edition of Volume 1 published in 1970. The first edition of Volume 1 was quickly revised after an uproar from Southern Baptists who thought the interpretationw as too liberal during a time of rising conservative sentiments in the sect. This listing includes all 12 hardcovers with their dust jackets (with the revised volume 1). The dust jackets have many chips, tears, and creases but are largely in tact. They have since been wrapped in mylar to protect them for future reading enjoyment. The red cloth-covered boards are in good condition with some shelfwear. Bindings are solid on all editions. Some volumes have highlighting on a few pages, but this is not extensive.
