The full title of this book is "The Clansman: A Historical Romance of the Ku Klux Klan." Minister, politician, and writer, Thomas Frederick Dixon Jr. was an avowed supporter of the antebellum South and White Supremacist viewpoint, and his works are all Reconstruction-era novels that reflect such prejudices. *HPB offers this title purely as an item of scholarly, historical and/or sociological interest.
