This is one of eight known signed first edition books by Allan W. Eckert inscribed to his sister-in-law Margaret Dowling, affectionaly referred to as Maggie. The Dreaming Tree is one of Eckert's lesser known works, and it is all-the-more rare as it is specially inscribed to the author's family. Minor rubbing along jacket edges, and a small scuff along the bottom of the front jacket cover.
