First edition, deluxe issue. This is volume 1 of a 2-volume set. Leather bound, ruled and lettered in gilt, sturdy bindings. This volume is in very good condition, with flaking and rubbing along the edges of leather, some foxing present on the pages, and some creasing to tissue guards throughout. The print of "The Trumpeter of Sackingen" has been torn. Beautiful folio of artwork.
