Royal blue cloth-covered boards are worn along their extremities and there is some fraying to spine's head & tail, as photos show. Gilt on spine a little darkened but gilt on front board is still mostly bright & shiny. Ffep missing, as shown. Lightly age-toned, tissue-covered frontis of Harney, numerous illustrations, and more tissue-covered portraits are part of the text. Gutters somewhat crumbly but the boards are holding on very well and are in no danger of detaching.
