One in a series of Crowell's Thin Paper Poets, a series made to be compact and easy to carry as well as cheaper to produce. This collection contains the works of Robert Browning, bound in red genuine leather with gilt decoration on the cover and spine. Pages are slightly tanned, with previous owner's bookplate on the front endpage. Also included in the original cardboard box with marbled paper, advertising others in the "Crowell's Thin Paper Poet's" series. Box has tanned along the sides with a tear in the two bottom corners. Overall a beautiful way to carry around the works of this influential poet!
