This edition of the Psalms of David includes sixteen full-page illustrations and other decorations by Louis Rhead and an introductory study by Newell Dwight Hillis. Red cloth boards with gilded designs and lettering. Color of the boards slightly faded due to age. Tears in the cloth at the top and bottom of the spine. Top edge is colored a dark blue/green but has lost some color due to age. Deckled edges. Tearing at the spine in between the paste down and free endpaper at the front. Previous owner inscription in blue pen on the pre-title page. Liquid damage stain near the spine, very evident for the first few pages, but then gradually fades once it gets to the actual contents of the book. Small tear on the introductory study page. Tearing at the spine about halfway through the book. The endpaper at the back has some tearing at the top and bottom of the seam.
