This fascinating piece of literary history, numbered 258 out of 699 printed copies, features the signature of legendary author John Steinbeck. There is loss to the featured slipcase on the left side along the spine. Despite this loss of cardboard the number 258 is featured predominently on the spine center. Book itself in very good condition with slight bowing to front board. The outer cover has become faded from the sun. The unique paper is handmade and printed under supervision of Pynson Printers under the supervision of Elmer Adler.
