The Biographical Edition, complete in 13 Volumes, with introductions by Thackeray's daughter, Anne Ritchie. The volumes are hardcovers with blue, cloth-covered boards with blue decorations on the cover and gilt lettering on the spine and gilt top-edge. Nine of the volumes are in very good condition. Volume 1, Vanity Fair, the front hinge is starting and the half title page has the bottom corner torn off. Volumes VI, Contributions to Punch, and X, The Virginians, are waterdamaged throughout and have many wrinkled and discolored pages. The covers on these two damaged editions are still in good condition. All volumes are free from underlining and marginalia.
