Martin Westle Pames is a brilliant inventor and scientist in the year 3457, working for the company, Future Discoveries. Since his wife disappeared in a transporter accident, he has been the sole provider for his two boys, Dan and Fillip. With the help of his future self, who appears through a time warp, Martin races against time to find the connection into the fourth dimension. Meanwhile, two men named Mathonog and Soseph are in hot pursuit of the elusive Shattering Device, and will do anything to get it, including destroying Martin if he stands in their way. Jess, an electronic beetle created by Mathonog and Soseph, comes to Martin's aid in his perilous journey through the fourth dimension and back. And so his journey begins.
