Overview

In 2012 Easton Press released 400 first edition facsimilie copies of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas by Jules Verne. This particular copy is still factory sealed in its shrink wrap with no signs of tampering or resealing. The green cloth-wrapped clamshell box it comes in shows faint signs of wear, mostly dust and a couple of scuffs from being moved. The gold ribbon inside the box for removal of the book has not begun to fray and remains in excellent condition. This book features all 110 original illustrations from the historic 19th century English language Edition, a replication of the 1873 Edition's spectacular two-color cover design, and printed marbled endsheets, all enclosed in typical Easton Press fine leather binding and gilt edges.
