Originally titled, Ratman's Notebooks, this horror novel follows a man who prefers the company of rats to humans and trains them to aid him in nefarious deeds. Publication date says 1969, though the title wasn't changed to Willard until the release of the 1972 film of the same name. Closed tears and chipping on edges of DJ. Small stain on lower front edge of DJ. Nice early copy of the book that inspired the creepy 1972 and 2003 Willard movies.
