Top edge stained black, illustrated end papers. Gilt on spine worn off, tears to cloth on top and bottom of spine. Rubbing to top corners of boards, bottom corners bumped. Quarter inch tear to cloth binding of back cover. Endpaper includes bookseller seal near lower hinge.
