Once again Murakami has left me reeling. His writing style is very everyday life, sometimes completely lacking plot structure. This is part of what I love about his writing, it's so normal, it's not normal. Filled with emotion and words that pull you right in, making you part of their world, his stories make you feel. My favorite stories in this collection were the last two. "Super-Frog Saves Tokyo" was wonderfully weird and definitely my favorite Murakami piece yet. "Honey Pie" was very different from Super-Frog, but it may be the most beautiful thing I've ever read.
