Such a disappointment. I preordered, was thrilled to dig into the story, only to be let down.
By the first book, I fell in love with the series and the ending saga is no exception to that. It was a riveting read however the ending was definitely a surprise to me. #SummerReading
The book, and the entire series at that, was amazing! They were a total life changer for me! (Them and the Hunger Games) I didn't enjoy reading until 5th grade, when I read Body in the Woods, but still then, I was a really slow reader. It took me 3 months just to read 350 pages! Well, that all changed when I stumbled upon these books. I started with reading the Hunger Games, and loved them, so next I read the Divergent series and oh my gosh, it was amazing! Allegiant is now my absolute favorite ever. I cried so hard, I had to stop reading, otherwise I wouldn't stop crying. And this series in particular has stuck with me. I am constantly talking about it whenever I can and recommending it to people. The last lines of Allegiant will be in my brain forever, "We can be mended. We can mend each other." I loved everything about it, especially that it took place in Chicago, which I could really connect to because I live in Chicago. Another favorite part, was reading from a guys perspective. It was funny to see the world that way, because they don't know certain girl stuff, like what eyeliner is, (I was laughing so hard at that part). What I disliked? Obviously the movies. The changed everything, even the ending of Allegiant! You can't do that! There are just some lines you can't cross. So, I was sorely disappointed when I watched them, but what did I expect (something more like the Hunger Games movies)I would recommend it to people who like dystopian stories and 5th grade and up, just because of the language. It is a seriously awesome book that you HAVE to read. #SummerReading
I very much enjoyed Allegiant, and I thought that it finished off the series beautifully! Throughout the book there were twists and turns that kept it interesting, although I hate to see the series come to an end the book left me satisfied! I Would highly recommend this book!
For anyone who likes a good adventure. This book is good for all audiences
