El Dr. Rolando Espinosa Carballo fue Abogado, Doctor en Pedagogía, Doctor en Ciencias Sociales, Profesor de la Universidad Metodista, Candle. ExPresidente del Colegio Nacional de Pedagogos de Cuba. Exiliado en Miami a principios de los años 60' realizó una gran labor pedagógica y patriótica, manteniendo y educando sobre las principales ideas que sirvieron de cimiento a la nación cubana. Dirigió el Colegio de Pedagogos de Cuba en el Exilio. Fue Profesor de los Cursos de Cultura Cubana de la Universidad de Miami. Falleció exiliado en Miami.

Este libro presenta en forma muy compresible una síntesis de la historia de Cuba tanto para jóvenes como para adultos que quieran conocer el proceso histórico desde el descubrimiento de Cuba por Colón, las culturas indígenas, el desarrollo durante la Colonia de España, el inicio del pensamiento nacional propiamente cubano, las guerras de Independencia y la historia Republicana a partir de 1902 hasta 1959.


Dr. Rolando Espinosa Carballo was a Lawyer, Doctor in Pedagogy, Doctor in Social Sciences, Professor at the Methodist University Candle. Former President of the National College of Pedagogues of Cuba. Exiled in Miami in the early 1960s, he carried out great pedagogical and patriotic work, maintaining and educating about the main ideas that served as the foundation of the Cuban nation. He directed the College of Pedagogues of Cuba in Exile. He was a Professor of the Cuban Culture Courses at the University of Miami. He died in exile in Miami.

This book presents in a very understandable way a synthesis of the history of Cuba for both young people and adults who want to know the historical process since the discovery of Cuba by Columbus, the indigenous cultures, the development during the Spanish Colony, the beginning of thought Cuban national culture, the wars of Independence and Republican history from 1902 to 1959.
