Wonderful story

Amazing Sequel!!!
Emily L. - 5 years 6 months ago“Sometimes Nova felt like the Renegades of the past had more in common with the Anarchists than anyone dared to admit.” i definitely enjoyed this sequel more than the first installment. (if you couldn’t already tell by the differing ratings LOL, 3 for renegades & 5 for archenemies 👀) we were able to see more into not only adrian & nova’s characters but ALSO a lot of the side characters!! i really liked seeing the “villains” interact with eachother & their bonding due to everyone else being against them. there was also a lot of talk about what makes a hero a hero & what makes a villain a villain which is always fun to discuss. towards the end you can totally see the gears turning in adrian’s head seeing how the “hero’s” aren’t as perfect as he or anyone make them out to be. he starts to see the cracks in the system so to say. as for nova, MAAAAN she’s so sick. a lot of this book revolved on her figuring out what her plan was and then FULFILLING IT LIKE THE COOLEST PERSON SHE IS. for real that last part of her just going ham w everyone, really make me smile ngl. i’m REALLLY excited for the last book. i very much want to see nova just flex on everyone. not to mention the whole situation with her uncle?? i have no idea how that’s gonna go down. some side notes: her and adrian are the cutest 🥺 definitely one of the rare times that i don’t mind a cheesy couple in books LOL, oscar is like my second favorite, he’s just *chefs kiss* & ruby is very cool as well, i like how much she cares about her friends and her family, she gives me very much mom friend vibes and i love that for her. lastly she-who-shall-not-be-named,,,, didnt like her from the beginning tbh. but i mean she’s nice?

A Fantastic middle part to the Renegades trilogy
Abby S. - 6 years 3 months agoLord knows I'm a sucker for superhero novels. Good/evil romances? Sign me up. Books with "villain" perspectives? I'm drooling. The combined appeal of Renegade was irresistible, and this sequel is just as thrilling. Nova and Adrian may be villain and hero, but their budding romance is undeniable. Marissa Meyer is a fantastic author, and she beautifully handles the balance of good and evil. Fans of Renegades will not be disappointed. #SummerReading
