Keia C. - 6 years 1 month agoThe story is told in alternating POVs between Camino and Yahaira, and both have very distinct voices because even though they have the same father, both girls come from very different worlds. There were also so many good relationships. Camino and Yahaira, Yahaira and her mother, both girls and their father. All these relationships showed how complicated and messy family can be. And sometimes, no matter how much they disappoint you, you still love them. #RequiredReading

Sarah U. - 6 years 4 months agoI COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN! I absolutely adore anything Elizabeth Acevedo does. She puts so much of herself into her work, and to allow the world to glimpse that much of you is beyond brave. She makes herself vulnerable in that way and, in my opinion, it pays off every single time. Clap When You Land is so beautiful and so full of heart that you can't help but love and appreciate it. #SummerReading
