Signed and Numbered #176/350. A Two Volume anthology collection of Walter De La Mare's rhymes and poetry "for the young of all ages." An acclaimed children's poet, De La Mare also won renown for his fiction and for his supernatural ghost stories, which were a favorite of H.P. Lovecraft. Gray boards over tan cloth, with leather-pressed title blocks on spine. Spines and title blocks are gilt-stamped but heavily toned. Moderate rubbing along board edges and corners, minor instances of splitting. Deckled edges, save for the top page edge which is gilt. illustrated in block prints by Alec Buckles.
