A Delicious Summer Concoction
Jeffery J. - 1 year 10 months agoDandelion Wine is a lyrical coming-of-age story by the great Ray Bradbury. The story is all about the magic, wonder, and mystery of life as seen through a Summer in a small mid-western town. No Science-Fiction here as Bradbury manages to create another world within the very real one in which we live. This impressionistic, semi-autobiographical classic is a treat for many ages and one that will stay with you like a sweet memory long after you've finished.

An enduring, classic tale for American youth
Arturo B. - 6 years 4 months agoAn American classic and a must-read title for young adults emerging into their teen years. Bradbury weaves a landscape relatable across the cultural spectrum. I first read this book in my late teen years and purchased it to revisit the story in my early 40s.

A nostalgic classic
Amanda D. - 6 years 5 months agoEach year, around this time of spring when things are starting to green up and turn towards the hazy days of summer, I think about this book. Bradbury manages to perfectly capture the essence of summers that you experience as a child growing up in a small town our near the country. It's a classic that definitely changed how I interact with books and how I myself write. It's definitely a book I'm going to return to again and again.
