Really is that Great
Grant S. - 5 years 6 months agoIt's a testament to the power of imagination and, on a deeper level, allegory about how we readers form identities or how our identities are formed by what we read. Edith Grossman, who translated a lot of Marquez, renders in clean modern English. No more excuses. #SpringPicks

The brilliance of Don Quixote
Matthew H. - 6 years 4 months ago#SummerReading This novel is my all time favorite. Many authors rate it the number one novel of all time, and it was the first. It is humorous throughout, covers an incredible range of society, and even is the first novel to use meta-fiction. The Penguin translation is also good.
