    The sequel to Outlander was as good as the first. What a great story and writing. I typically focus on fantasy or thrillers, but this series has hooked me on historical fiction. Highly recommend it to anyone.

    Definitely one of my favorite series of books! Love the characters! Love this period in history! And especially love how Diana Gabaldon weaves the characters through history!!

    Love this author she builds on her story and is a great historical fiction writer.

  • Wonderful read, book is hard to hold because of its thickness and time has yellowed the pages...print is a bit too small for my older eyes.

    This book was amazing, but because the paperback book was considered a ‘pocketbook’ and had so many pages, it was very difficult to read in this form. I muddled through when I had to. Mostly read it on my tablet lent via the public library which was perfect! This was my second book in the Outlander series and I can’t say enough about this fabulous writer Diana Gabaldon whose able to sweep you away to different times and far places. Excellent read! Next time however, the print must be larger and lighter in color.
