  • Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein

    Vicky M. - 5 years 5 months ago

Gamemaker extraordinaire Luigi Lemoncello decides his hometown, Alexandriaville, needs a library. Before the ultramodern, digitally-enhanced library opens, twelve seventh graders are invited for a sleepover to experience the library’s mind-blowing features. (Think holographs and hover ladders and robots sorting books.) The next morning they discover they have been locked in the library! It sounds like the beginning of a horror story, but it’s actually the beginning of a real-life Lemoncello game! The challenge: Find a way OUT of the library from WITHIN the library. All the library’s resources are at your disposal. Will Kyle and his team find the escape route first? Or will snooty Charles Chiltington be the first to cross the finish line? My sixth and seventh graders loved the challenge and stretched their brains to solve the puzzles!

A fun and engaging read! I can't wait to use this book for my daughter's book club. The puzzles throughout the book are fun to solve right alongside the characters. #SummerReading
