    I really loved this book. From the moment I started it, I was immersed into this lush fantasy world that takes place in times of witch trials and huntings. The two main characters really hated each other, and everything built up so perfectly. There was action, betrayal, love, agony, passion, hatred, and more, all wrapped up into this beautiful book. I loved following Rune and Alex and Gideon. The magic system was one that I had never seen before, and it was really refreshing to experience.
