    As an avid fan of hockey romance, I can confidently say that Heated Rivalry is absolutely top tier. As the second book in the Game Changer series by Rachel Reid, it centers on a different couple within this fictional hockey world—but what truly makes this story unforgettable isn’t the sport. It’s the couple's chemistry. Ilya and Shane completely stole my heart. Their dynamic is electric from the very beginning, balancing their on ice rivalry with undeniable attraction. At times they’re both frustrating and stubborn, yet also incredibly vulnerable and lovable. I wanted to shake them...and hug them...more than once. I laughed, I cried, and I genuinely couldn’t put it down. The tension, the longing, the slow emotional unraveling between them? Perfection. I’ve recommended this book to basically everyone I know. Just a small warning: it gets spicy very fast, so be prepared for some steamy scenes. But if you’re ready for that, you’re in for one heck of a romance!
