He finally receives his powers one day, launching a trash bag into the stratosphere during his burger-flipping part time job, beginning his own hero career at the same time. Equal parts celebration of the superhero comic, while at the same time satirizing the now ubiquitous genre. The series has been made into an award-winning animated show as well. Whether you are a long-time fan of the series or just starting out, this volume is the best place to start.
